Around the world, the highest profile broadcast organisations rely on C100 technology to deliver reliable, sonically superb performance for mono, stereo and surround productions. Everything, from the console layout to the quickly manipulable channel layering, and even the console’s colour scheme, is designed to create a confident, pleasant, sustainable working environment for coping with complex or lengthy sessions. While operation is simple, the feature set is comprehensive, providing all of the reset and configuration benefits associated with digital technology.
Hybrid interface, employing Assignable and Dedicated control technology
The ultimate fusion of highly evolved hardware control surface, touchscreen interface and powerful, intuitive software environment, the C100 is an ergonomic masterpiece, enabling a simplicity of operation which belies the processing power and comprehensive feature set within.
The control concepts developed for the C100 are the product of years of design experience and careful consultation with operators. The result is a console which perfectly balances a capacity for highly detailed configuration with an uncluttered, sustainable working environment.
This is attained through a combination of beautifully organized dedicated and assignable hardware controls, and an intuitive central touchscreen:
The concept of combining dedicated and assignable controls extends to control surface channel assignments: Multiple layers of channels can be quickly selected in either conventional banks of contiguous signals, or user-defined layouts which can be easily re-arranged, even while on air. This offers the user both a stable layout that enables every signal to be quickly located, and a more versatile layout which ensures that essential signals are kept close, and enables signal-heavy sessions to be handled smoothly, even on more compact console sizes.
